In 2019, China Southern Airlines became the first airline in China to obtain the highest NDC certification level, LEVEL-4. As the very first airline in China to put NDC into production, China Southern Airlines has incorporated NDC into full-process service functions covering query, reservation, payment, ticketing, cancellation, rescheduling, and seat selection, and will further improve functions related to products and ancillary services.
Invitation to Apply for China Southern Airlines NDC Technical Service Provider Certification
Background
To ensure the security of passenger data, standardize the industrial technology development of NDC, and promote the sound and orderly growth of NDC, China Southern Airlines has launched the certification service for NDC technical service provider, seeking to jointly establish the NDC development network with partners and build an NDC cooperation and win-win ecosystem.
The certification includes a comprehensive commercial and technical assessment of the applicant (such as industry experience, development language, data security strategy, etc.) and a test of the technical capabilities of its technicians. The eligible applicant and its technical personnel will be issued a certificate.

Advantages of NDC Certification
1. Certified applicants will be included in the database of China Southern Airlines NDC Technical Service Providers
2. When China Southern Airlines seeks market expansion, the service providers in the database will be priority candidates for cooperation on technical development.
