Product usage rules
China Southern Airlines offers passengers who are qualified for free transit accommodation a free stay for one night (including a free breakfast) and transportation between the terminal and the hotel. For the length of stay and the breakfast time , refer to the requirements of the hotel.
Applicable Conditions and Service Standards
Flight dates between January 1, 2024 (inclusive) and December 31, 2024 (inclusive) meet the following conditions,
This standard applies to passengers who have booked seats on flights of China Southern Airlines (including codeshare flights, excluding ground virtual flights)，connecting at a hub from domestic-international/regional and international/regional -international/regional with a connecting time of no less than 6 hours and no more than 30 hours, and meet the following conditions (including a China Southern Airlines domestic codeshare flight operated by Chongqing Airlines connecting with a China Southern Airlines international/regional flight)
(1)Platinum card passengers: any cabins of an international and regional segments except for G;
(2) Other passengers:the cabins of an international/regional segment should be: F/ J/ C/ D/ I/ O;
b) For intercontinental connecting tickets
(1)Platinum card, Gold card, Silver card passengers: any cabins of an intercontinental segments except for G;
(2)Other passengers:the cabins of an intercontinental segment should be: F/ J/ C/ D/ I/ O/ W/ S/ Y/ P/ B/ M/ H/ K/ U/ A/ L/ Q/ E.
Note: Intercontinental routes refer to those travel between Asia and Europe/ Oceania/ America/ Africa.
Limited time free accommodation policy (June-December 2024)
Flight dates between June 1, 2024 (inclusive) and December 31, 2024 (inclusive) meet the following conditions, and the journey meets one of the following Category ABC conditions. This policy does not apply to Urumqi transit from July 1 (inclusive) to October 7 (inclusive).
This standard applies to passengers who have booked seats on flights of China Southern Airlines (including codeshare flights, excluding ground virtual flights)，connecting at a hub from domestic-international/regional with a connecting time of no less than 6 hours and no more than 30 hours or international/regional -international/regional with a connecting time of no less than 6 hours and no more than 144 hours and meet the following conditions (including a China Southern Airlines domestic codeshare flight operated by Chongqing Airlines connecting with a China Southern Airlines international/regional flight):

1. * Applicable class: The class of international/regional flights that meet the conditions of the time shall prevail, and the higher class shall prevail when both sections meet the conditions.
2. *1 room/2 person : In principle, passengers of the same gender should be arranged in the same room, the same applies below. If the passenger does not accept the arrangement of the China Southern Airlines counter, it will be deemed as giving up the right, and China Southern Airlines will not provide service compensation.
3. If passengers need to upgrade to single person accommodation, please consult the China Southern Airlines counter on site for assistance. Please refer to the on-site guidance for details.
4. According to the above standard arrangement, affected by the local cooperative hotel, the hotel standard is subject to the actual situation of the day.
Applicable flights
●CZ Domestic Flights, CZ International Flights and CZ Regional Flights refer to flights’operating carrier and flight code are China Southern Airlines
● CZ&OQ Domestic Codeshare Flights refer to domestic codeshare flights with the code of China Southern Airlines (CZ) but the operating carrier is Chongqing Airlines(OQ).
● CZ International/Regional Codeshare Flights refer to international/regional codeshare flight with the code of China Southern Airlines (CZ) but the operating carrier is other Airlines.
● Free transit accommodation is not allowed on any connecting flights except those marked "√" above.
Standards
3. Other passengers are entitled to a Grade C Contracted Hotels: Hotels rated three stars (inclusive) or above, or with a Ctrip rating of 2 diamonds (inclusive) or higher, or comfort-level (inclusive) hotels offering standard rooms or higher.
Channel
1.Currently, the cities that provide free accommodations for transfer passengers are Beijing, Changsha, Shenzhen, Urumqi, Guangzhou, Dalian, Wuhan, Shenyang, Zhengzhou.
2. Online booking of free transit accommodation only provide for passengers who transit in Guangzhou or Shenyang . In other cities, passengers who meet the accommodation standards can go to the China Southern Airlines transfer service counter of the airport for consultation, and on-site staff will assist in arranging accommodation.

Notes
1. If the passenger does not take the flight in the order listed in the ticket, or the passenger abandons the trip due to his/her own reasons, China Southern Airlines will not provide free transit accommodation service (except for the passenger who abandons the subsequent trip after check-in hotel).
2. Children under the age of 12 shall be accompanied by their guardian or an adult designated by their guardian before accommodation is arranged.
3. Mileage redemption tickets are regarded as normal tickets, complying with the above standards.
4.For transit passengers of the same trip but not of the same level, passengers with senior level can invite 1 lower level passenger to stay in the same room according to the senior standards. If he/her invite more than 1 lower level passenger to stay in the same room, the specific check-in requirements shall be subject to the hotel. If there is any difference in fees, the relevant expenses shall be borne by the passengers themselves.
5. In case of a large area of flight delay, hotel room shortage and other special circumstances, passengers can be arranged to involuntarily downgrade to the hotel agreement, the difference is not refunded.
6.If VIP fly with fellow travelers, but they do not belong to the same hotel level, VIP can invite one fellow traveler to stay in the same hotel, other fellow travelers shall be arranged to the corresponding hotel in accordance with their actual cabins.
7. Airline staff tickets in any ticketing and reservation status are not eligible for transfer complimentary accommodation.
8. Affected by policy adjustment of partnered hotel or local transit accommodation product policy and other factors, the actual accommodation is subject to the on-site arrangement.
9.Passengers who are not part of a group will be accomodated to different room in the same way as strangers.
10.Transit hotels are located outside the airport quarantine area. If you cannot enter the country due to your own or customs reasons, you will not provide corresponding transit accommodation services.
11. Free accommodation policy according to the local transit hub service announced standards.
12. Connecting passenger tickets must be filled in the same PNR and the seats are confirmed.
13. Due to the limited availability of official booking rooms provided by the cooperative hotels, if you cannot book the hotel online according to the accommodation standards, please go to the Southern Airlines transfer accommodation counter to handle the corresponding accommodation business offline.
